Many America states have introduced voter registration laws that require voters to present government issued ID such as drivers licenses prior to voting. While this may seem reasonable it can be used to discriminate against groups like blacks and Mexican Americans because they are less likely to have this type of ID.
In addition, Trump is trying to limit mail in ballots in upcoming elections. This is seen by many as another example
Also, something called gerrymandering is cynical and a undemocratic. Look that up.
