History 12 - Cold War Unit Essay
Students will write an essay on either May 23rd or 24th, 2017.
What to expect:
An essay question that deals with the conflict between the democratic U.S.A. and the totalitarian U.S.S.R. Students will be expected to reference Cold War SOP topics.
Some classes may have to answer a "to what extent" question. Please see me if you are unclear about this command term.
Day 1 (May 24) Essay topic will be a question similar to the following:
To what extent was the United States on the side of justice during the Cold War?
Please note that wording for this question is subject to minor change
A reminder that extra lesson hand-outs from this unit are located at the front of my classroom.
