35 multiple choice questions
Key Topics:
Ideologies
How a Bill becomes a Law
Key political vocab
Duties and Responsibilities of Government officials
Elections
Charter of Rights and Freedoms
1 essay - You will be asked to write a "to what extent" essay on the Pros and Cons of our political system
Tips:
- Address both sides
- 3-5 body paragraphs
- ideally a "for and against" ratio of 4:1
Introduction should have key vocabulary "overwhelming" and "however"
ie, Overwhelmingly, The Canadian political system works well.
- state 3 -5 specific topics.
However, our electoral system of first past the post is in dire need of reform
- top marks will have plenty of factual detail
- top marks will have a well developed "voice" and or point of view

Note - Although this is the minimum for next class I recommend that that you write a full essay as this will serve as helpful preparation for your unit exam
